In the framework of the 6th International Congress of Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery of Congenital Heart Disease , which took place in Athens, Greece,

Healthcare Business Awards
In the frameworks of this year’s Greek “Healthcare Business Awards 2021”,
 under the auspices of Boussias Communication Group, held on 20/09/2021,
Dr. Fotios A. Mitropoulos MD, PhD, for a
second year in a row has been recognized and received the honorary distinction of the Bronze Award in the Medical Category- Pioneer in Surgical Treatment of a Disease . 
He was acclaimed for the Surgical Treatment of Infective Endocarditis (Aspergillus Endocarditis). An extremely demanding and complex surgical case of a patient with a severe structural heart disease and multiple (7) reoperations through Classic Medium Sternotomy.

The Hellenic Society of Thoracic, Heart & Vessels Surgeons in cooperation with the Cardiac & Thoracic Surgical Clinic Department of Democritus University of Thrace, hosted the 12th Symposium of Work Group, in the city of Alexandroupolis during 25-26 of June 2021.


Dr. Fotios Mitropoulos attended and participated the two days workshop after honorary invitation. 
Dr. Fotios Mitropoulos cited a scientific speech after the honorary invitation of Hellenic Institute of Heart & Vessels Disease, of Vascular Surgery Department of Clinic Γ.Ν.Α «ΚΑΤ» and of Cardiology Clinic Γ.Ν.Α «ΚΑΤ» and under the auspices of the Hellenic Society of Cardiology and Hellenic Society of Vascular & Intravascular Surgery, during the conduct of the 2nd two day Conference Heart, Vessels & Current Developments, May 28-29, 2021, in the hotel Semiramis.
